Environmental Interest

This past summer from June to August, I participated in the Youth Conservation Program (YCP) in Grand Teton National Park. As part of trail crew, I was responsible for trail maintenance. The days were long (about 10 hours!) and the work was physically tasking, especially on cold summer mornings, but I found it to be incredibly fulfilling. I love spending time outside and cleaning up the environment. My love of the outdoors also led me to get certified in Wilderness First Aid.
